Bande kaahnun sochan kar kar evein waqt ganvana eyn;
Yaad hari di pal pal kar lai jis tere kam aana eyn. Jisda hukam chale din ratin sooraj dharti pani te; Jisda hukam chale din ratin duniyan de har prani te. Jisda hukam bina is jag te patta vi nahin hil sakda; Jisde hukam bina is jag te ik til vi nahi mil sakda. Jo eh kul makhlook bana kea aape is nun paal rehai; Jo eh kul prapanch racha ke sari khed sambhal rihai. Teri chinta eho karsi ehda naam dhyayi ja; Kahe avtar guru nun mil ke ese de gun gaayi ja. |

O' man, why do you waste your time in worrying about yourself?
Remember God every moment who alone is to come to your rescue. God, whose command prevails day and night over the sun, the earth and the water; God, whose command prevails day and night over every living creature of the world. God, without whose command, even a leaf cannot stir, God, without whose command, even a tiny seed (of seramum) cannot be found in this world; God, who created the whole mankind and Himself is sustaining them; God, who planned the whole game and is controlling it. This very God will take care of you, go on remembering Him; Avtar says, meet the True Master and keep on singing the glory of God. |
Meaning
O' man, why do you waste your time in worrying about yourself? Rather remember God every moment who alone is to come to your rescue. The One, whose command prevails day and night over the sun, the earth and the water, whose command prevails day and night over every living creature of the world, without whose command, even a leaf cannot stir, without whose command, even a tiny seed cannot be found in this world, who created the whole mankind and Himself is sustaining them, who planned the whole game and is controlling it; This very God will take care of you, Keep on remembering Him. Baba Avtar Singh ji says, meet the True Master and keep on singing the glory of God.
